W.E.
Williams Paving, Inc. was founded by Bill Williams in 1974. Chris
Williams joined the company in 1976.
By 1976 W.E. Williams Paving, Inc. became the first company in Western
Massachusetts to use the new line of self-propelled driveway paving
machines.
W.E. Williams Paving, Inc. grew steadily through the 70’s and
80’s. The company started to perform larger projects such as
municipal paving and excavations for subdivisions. By the early 90’s
the company had grown to be a multimillion-dollar operation and had
split into two divisions, paving and excavation. Paving included driveway-parking
lots, tennis courts, town roads and resurfacing projects for Massachusetts
Highway Department. Excavation included everything from residential
septic fields to subdivision roads and site development for new housing.
W.E. Williams Paving, Inc. maintains its office and yard on Great
Barrington Road in West Stockbridge, Massachusetts and a gravel bed
on Route 7 in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
We work with the area’s finest architects and engineers and on
many smaller projects including in-house design and consultation.
